Sourav K. Chaudhuri is a Director at ToneyKorf Partners, LLC.  Sourav has more than 12 years of experience in restructuring, private equity, and investment banking.  His experience includes numerous financial and operational restructurings, capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions transactions in the U.S. and internationally.  He has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, retail, industrials, and restaurants.

Prior to joining ToneyKorf, Sourav worked at Grant Thornton in their corporate restructuring practice, as an investment professional within Citi’s $2 billion Special Situations portfolio group, and as an investment banker in Citi’s Global Technology practice.  His key restructuring experience includes Saint Vincents Catholic Medical Centers of New York where he assisted the Interim Management team in cash management, day-to-day budgeting, preparation of long-term forecasts and recovery analyses; advising the senior lender group of a national restaurant chain throughout its bankruptcy and reorganization; and advising a top academic hospital system on potential spin-offs and divestitures.  As a private equity professional in Citi’s Special Situation Group, he performed in-depth valuation and returns analyses on potential investments across several industries in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. As an investment banker within Citi’s Investment Banking Division, he evaluated strategic and financial alternatives for various clients, including sell-side acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, and leveraged buy-outs for large-capitalization information technology services firms, business process outsourcers, and other international technology companies.

Sourav is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.  He is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional through the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
