Peter has more than 11 years of experience helping companies sustainably measure and improve their bottom line. He specializes in partnering with healthy and distressed companies by strategically identifying and implementing initiatives to unlock value. He has advised clients across a wide range of industries including healthcare, financial services, insurance, retail, and manufacturing.
At ToneyKorf, Peter currently assists a hospital in NYC with various financial, operational, and clinical performance improvement initiatives. To date, the hospital has seen a 10% recurring annual improvement to its cost structure while continuously identifying and implementing initiatives that sustainably improve the quality of care to the communities they serve.
Prior to joining ToneyKorf, Peter worked at Alvarez and Marsal within their Private Equity Performance Improvement group. At Alvarez and Marsal, Peter has worked on various initiatives including but not limited to serving as the interim head of FP&A for a mid-sized insurance brokerage, enhancing the forecasting accuracy of a Private Equity-owned manufacturing firm with $3 billion in assets and various ground-up forecast modeling for PE-owned firms and Fortune 100 companies. Peter has also worked on numerous other consulting engagements involving organizational effectiveness, M&A due diligence, product development, and risk assessments.
Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Rochester with a Minor in Probabilistic Mathematics. He earned his M.B.A. from the Simon School of Business with Concentrations in Finance and Organizational and Competitive Strategy. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.

Where am I from: I’ve lived in 11 places throughout my life, mostly on the east coast. Favorite cities include New York City, Chicago, Boston and Atlanta.
Hobbies: Tennis, soccer, or really any kind of sport. Recently, I started to learn cricket in order to play with my nephew.
What I do outside of work: Try to stay in touch with friends and time permitting, stay in shape. Lately, I’ve been spending time with my newborn son and enjoying all the benefits that come with being a father.
