John Buldo is a Vice President at ToneyKorf based in New York. He specializes in assisting clients in analyzing and improving operational and financial performance, developing business and turnaround plans, financial modeling, and formulating successful restructuring strategies.
John has more than ten years of experience in private equity and investment banking. His deal experience includes capital raisings and M&A transactions across several industries, including healthcare, consumer, retail, and broadcasting.
Prior to joining ToneyKorf, John worked at Cain Brothers within the corporate finance practice as an M&A investment banker, where he provided financial advisory services to various clients across the healthcare sector. Advisory services included sell-side and buy-side mergers & acquisitions, divestiture of non-core business units or assets, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and assessment and evaluation of strategic alternatives. Prior to Cain Brothers, John was with Moelis & Co. and Lindsay Goldberg.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

What I do outside work: Any chance I get to travel, I’ll take it. I never get tired of visiting Spain and Mexico, but I could live in Montenegro indefinitely. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy a group dinner in New York with close friends.
